How to Shoot Good Fireworks Photos

Independence Day is here again, and what better way to celebrate than to go watch the spectacular fireworks display? If you have done that year after year in the past, perhaps this year you can arm yourself with your camera and be in the thick of the action by capturing excellent fireworks shots.

Go early to the fireworks site and get yourself a good spot. You will be remaining stationary so it is vital for you to set up your equipment in a location where buildings, tree branches and people will not block your view, so if possible don?t be afraid to be perched up high in order to obtain dynamic shots of the fireworks. Optimize your photography experience by lugging along your tripod and invest in a good remote starter. You do not want to be frustrated by blurry, less-than-crisp pictures. Pressing the shutter gently helps but doing so also means that you are taking less photos of the stunning fireworks display. Don?t own a tripod? Just prop up your camera against a sturdy tree or wall and it?ll do the trick.

Most importantly, do ensure that the night mode setting in your digital camera is switched on to allow create longer exposures. Some cameras are equipped with burst mode. Use this to your advantage by creating an amazing fireworks sequence.
